Copenhagen, Denmark is ready for the 2009 WTF World Taekwondo Championships scheduled for Oct. 14-18, 2009, which will draw athletes from a record countries, amid great interest from both the public and the global media, especially televisions.

The biennial World Taekwondo Championships, the 19th edition of its kind for men and 12th for women, are expected to attract more than 1010 athletes from a record 142 countries.
